Still The One by:Robin Wells *Review and Giveaway*

Saturday, June 19, 2010

I'm not usually a romance book kinda person.  But I loved this book!  It's not too overly lovely, and to my surprise any sex scene in the book is more romantic, than slutty (unlike some other romance novels I've read)!  This book doesn't even use dirty language (it is based in the south, so that is part of the reason).  I could hardly put it down.  With 33 chapters, and 412 pages, I finished it in only 6 days!  It would have been less than that if I could have put my life on hold..lol!
Robin Wells takes us back to Chartreuse, Louisiana, for a deeply moving story of forgiveness and second chances.  After Katie Charmaine's husband is killed in Iraq, all she has left is a closet full of his clothes, a few pictures, and fond memories.  She not only lost her love, but her last chance to have the children she's always wanted.  Until Zack Ferguson shows up in town...with the daughter Katie gave up for adoption nearly seventeen years ago.
Alot the reason I enjoyed this book so much (other than the amazing writing, and story line), is because I could relate to the characters.  I also had a child at a young age (16), and understood exactly how they was feeling, and what they was going through!  Overall I absolutly loved the book, and would recommend it to any woman!  I would even recommend it to older teens, as there isn't really any bad language, nor is there really any sex scenes, that go into a whole lot of detail.  The love in this story is so strong, you'll never want to put it down!
You can buy this book at Amazon.com new for $6.99.  And now for the fun part!  I am giving away 5 copies of Still The One!  Here are the details.
